Our mission

Redmint is a cooperative nonprofit network made by international researchers from several European regions, joining forces together in order to promote regional sustainable development by inventing and developing projects on the territory.

Our common vision is based on the combination of two main objectives and areas of intervention, social innovation and inclusion, and technology and knowledge transfer.

Concerning the former, our projects and activities aim at putting social innovation and inclusion at the center of the development process, in order to enhance livability of different regional environments and promote sustainability by fostering behavioral change and raising awareness among citizens.

According to the Redmint approach, technology and knowledge transfer actions develop around communities and their needs. The potential of innovation can be exploited when citizens have equal access to its benefits, and it generates competitiveness when the socio-economic environment is affected as a system.

Our activities

The following categories summarize a non exhaustive list of activities performed according to our mission. The Redmint network partners are committed in promoting common objectives collaborating according to their multidisciplinary expertise in:

­Development, promotion and raising awareness on the issues of mobility, spatial development, environmental sustainability, social and economic, energy efficiency, technological innovation and social, participatory planning and co-design of innovative solutions for the territory in the European Regions.

­Research, training, technology and knowledge transfer.

­Creating networks for the development of cooperation and research projects at national and international level.

­Support and assistance to small and medium enterprises for the valorization of skills and activities with high potential for social and environmental innovation.
